Growing up in Ukraine in the 1960’s - The Beatles band were to the young Sviatchenko the ultimate representation of pop-culture liberation, rock music and the spirit of revolution. Sviatchenko’s ‘conversations’ with the Beatles imagery spans 40 years and including reworking of album covers and iconic ‘LESS’ portraits of John and Paul. In 2020 a series of the artists tributes to The Beatles was installed at the original EMI Factory in London, in collaboration with NEW.Agency.
